At its meeting the Village of Biscayne Park building reviewers approved a pool variance, signed off on multiple routine permits and accepted minutes from the previous meeting.
A pool variance for 11619 Northeast 6th Avenue was approved after the applicant provided the required 14‑foot measurement from the side property line. The board recorded motions and carried votes on several building permits (roof replacements, window and door replacements, a small closet addition at 11420 Northeast 8th Avenue approved pending a lot-coverage form upload, and a demolition permit for 12010 Northeast 11th Place) and approved minutes from the May 4, 2026 meeting. "All in favor say 'I'" recorded voice votes on routine items throughout the meeting.
Some approvals were explicitly made pending receipt of specific documentation (for example, the 11420 addition was approved pending upload of the lot‑coverage calculation and the building permit revision for a property adding a bedroom required an updated survey). The board also confirmed that previously considered variances remain in the record and signed variance paperwork when needed.
The board set its next meeting for June 1 and adjourned after routine administrative items.
