West Covina honors retiring Officer Jeff Mosley and Police Unity Tour riders

At the May 19 meeting the council and Chief Cortina recognized Officer Jeffrey Mosley for 26 years of service. Mosley introduced family members and spoke about his commitment to the department and plans to continue community service; the council presented a plaque and a ceremonial "Mosley Way" street sign. Chief Cortina also described department participation in the Police Unity Tour: three riders and three motor officers rode approximately 245 miles from New Jersey to Washington, D.C., and Southern California chapter fundraising supported survivors of fallen officers.
The council thanked Mosley and the Police Unity Tour participants for service and community representation.
