Applicant Jacqueline Beals of Custom Awning described the proposed canopy and confirmed the frame would remain during cold months while the canvas is removed. “The frame stays up over the winter months. The canvas comes down,” Beals said, adding that the design matches existing window awnings and would provide shelter during events.
Commission members clarified seasonal use and that the installation is removable; they noted the design is consistent with traditional green‑and‑white striped window awnings shown in the packet. After a motion and second, the commission approved 26 COA 04 by roll call with unanimous affirmative votes from members present.
