A councilmember moved to approve the consent agenda and a second was recorded. The clerk read roll call votes; the chair announced the consent agenda passed unanimously. No contested items were recorded on the consent agenda.
Staff reports covered interim legislative tracking (impact fees and property-tax developments), community events and volunteer programs, parks projects including progress at the bike park, and an initial kickoff meeting with Rocky Mountain Power to audit and appraise electrical infrastructure as dictated by statute. Staff said the city will pay for the appraisal and will report back on schedule and estimated cost.
Council then motioned and seconded to adjourn into a closed session pursuant to Utah Code 52-4-205 for the purpose of discussing potential city project proposals; the motion passed and the meeting was closed.
The council scheduled a public budget hearing for June 3 and noted one budget removal (funding for the Ira Allen lights) from the draft.
