Bradley County RPC unanimously approves 28‑lot Old Parksville Ridge plat and three‑lot Arrington plat

Staff recommended approval for both plats and commissioners recorded unanimous roll‑call approvals.

Bentley, the commission planner, summarized the Old Parksville Ridge application as the final plat following the preliminary approval from the prior month and said the 28 lots will be served by county utilities. During review, Ben Wit, identified as the general manager of the OK Utilities District, told the commission, "we're in full support," confirming sewer service is available and that the district had approved the connection.

For the Arrington plat, Bentley described a straightforward three‑lot subdivision off Cross Street and noted there were no substantive issues; no members of the public spoke in opposition. Commissioners moved and approved the Arrington plat by roll call.

Both approvals were made on motions from the floor and recorded with the commission’s roll call confirming all present members voted to approve. The actions are plats approved by the planning commission; any required signatures or conditions indicated by staff (for example, utility signatures) will be completed before the plats are filed.

The commission’s next business included two rezoning requests and a discussion about revisions needed in the county zoning resolution, which staff said is posted to the county website for review.
