City of Watertown introduces new planner, Ashton Cook

The City of Watertown introduced Ashton Cook as a new planner during the Board of Adjustment meeting.
Brandy announced that Cook began on Monday and that he brings relevant academic and internship experience, including serving as an engineering intern for the city last summer and an internship with the city of Sioux Falls. Cook said he holds a degree in community and regional planning from South Dakota State University and expressed enthusiasm for joining the local staff.
Members welcomed Cook to the role; no actions or votes were associated with the introduction. The Board adjourned and planned to reconvene shortly as the Planning Commission.
