Grant County fiscal court approves two zone changes for Warsaw Road and Dixie Highway properties

The Grant County Fiscal Court approved two second-reading zoning ordinances at its May 20 meeting, changing two parcels from Agriculture 1 (A1) to Residential 1 (R1A).
The first ordinance, read as 2022-0299 for Anthony Ashcraft, concerns a 2.9986-acre site at 785 Warsaw Road. The court held a second reading, solicited public comment and, finding none, approved the ordinance by voice vote.
The second ordinance, identified in the record as 2026-0300 for Jamie Brantley, covers a 1.0014-acre site at 3855 Dixie Highway (a separation of the Hedger Farm brick house from surrounding property). That ordinance also passed on second reading after no members of the public registered opposition.
Judge Chuck Dills noted both zone changes will be published in the Grant County News following adoption. No amendments or contested testimony were recorded during the second readings.
