Budget committee elects Michael chair, Lacy vice chair and nominates Katrina as secretary

The Colton School District budget committee opened its meeting with the election of officers. Bob moved to nominate Michael as budget committee chair; Kathy seconded and a roll-call-style voice vote of those present carried the motion. Lacy was nominated and seconded for vice chair and the committee approved that nomination by voice vote. Katrina was nominated and seconded to serve as committee secretary.
Chair Michael will preside over future budget discussions; committee members confirmed their availability for follow-up meetings and set a second budget session for May 26 to continue review of the 2026–27 proposal.
