Board members asked procedural questions about redistricting and timeline during the Building and Grounds report; staff said redistricting options are expected this fall with implementation staggered (elementary/middle 2027, high school 2029). The board’s vote authorizes the chair to execute the construction contract substantially in the form presented.
What the vote does and does not do: the action awards the construction contract and clears a major procurement milestone for the new high school.
