The Methactton School District recognized 24 employees who retired during the 2025–26 school year, collectively representing 518 years of service, at the board’s May 20 work session.
Dr. Serjini and Dr. Zerby read the retirees’ names in alphabetical order and invited them forward for applause and a group photo. The board and administration thanked the retirees for long service, wished them well, and encouraged them to remain engaged with the district as volunteers if they choose.
The recognition was entirely ceremonial; no board action was required.
