The Littleton Arts & Culture Board reviewed and updated subcommittee rosters for public art, museum, library and a proposed creative-district working committee, with members volunteering to serve on multiple groups.
The board noted a forthcoming percent-for-art program and an upcoming process to "call yourself creative" as a preliminary step toward state creative-district designation. Staff said subcommittees will work on policy, scoring frameworks, deaccessioning lists for the museum and a library strategic-plan refresh.
Members also discussed representation on a citywide climate risk stakeholder committee; a board member volunteered to represent the Arts & Culture Board and staff agreed to forward calendar details and meeting information.
After discussion of calendar conflicts, board members moved and seconded a motion to cancel the regular June meeting, citing the boards-and-commissions dinner and limited agenda items; the motion passed by consensus.
Staff said they will email final rosters and deadlines to members and requested volunteers review binder materials and send clarifying questions by the announced deadline.
