Applicant Scott Robinson said the proposed dwelling will be rebuilt "in kind" on the existing foundation and noted the site location is the same as the prior house. Staff said a deep review is expected on May 21 and that, because this is a rebuild on the same footprint, no adverse impacts to coastal resources are anticipated and the project appears zoning compliant.
The board moved to approve the application with a condition that a satisfactory report from the Department of Energy and Environment (DEEP) be submitted. The motion passed with all present members voting in favor.
The approval is conditional on DEEP's satisfactory report; the board indicated that final plan clearance should follow that review.
