Commissioners emphasized the importance of written neighbor acknowledgements and said the applicant should notify the sheriff's office and any city police as appropriate. "I really hesitate on this because of the area that you're at," one commissioner said, asking specifically that Perez obtain written approval from Caillou Vineyards to the north and any contiguous owners. The board moved to postpone action until those acknowledgements and law‑enforcement coordination were returned to Planning.
Planning staff directed the applicant to provide the contiguous-owner letters to the planning division and return with that material; the item will be heard again after that follow-up.
