Board members discussed a recent 48-hour resident survey conducted through a contracted platform. Taylor said the CRA used the vendor’s panel methodology and that roughly 330 responses were collected.
“We technically don’t want to attempt to speak to how their data works, but I am happy to talk with communications and I can send a follow-up email just kind of explaining how they get their contacts and who it actually goes to,” Taylor said.
Board members said they valued receiving the results by email to compare their viewpoints with the community and asked whether a sharable link or broader distribution was available. Taylor said staff had requested a link for the first survey so it could be shared and would follow up with communications for exact distribution details.
Staff said the CRA can use the contracted service under the city contract and that there is no incremental charge for access while the contract remains active, though internal budgeting covers a share of administrative costs.
