Budget passes with supermajority; two incumbents win school board seats

In the school election, Sarah Kenny received 430 votes and Christina Skinner received 404 votes for two open board seats. The board proposed and approved three routine resolutions: accepting the unofficial results of the budget vote, acknowledging the budget amount, and authorizing district staff to consult with the village to pursue a tax warrant for the district levy (the figure cited during discussion was 50,473,210).
