The board recorded the results for Proposition One (budget) as Yes 1,739, No 726; Proposition Two (bus purchase) as Yes 1,636, No 858; and candidate vote totals for the school board as Steve Shukat 1,923; Keith Odums 1,929; and Ellen Meade 1,891. A motion to accept the audited results was made by Mr. McFarland and seconded by Ms. Kemp and was approved by the board.
President Johnson and other trustees offered congratulations to the members who were elected or re-elected. The board singled out district clerk Alberta Pedro for special recognition; trustees praised her work preparing and auditing the district election process.
Board members also noted strong community support for the budget during subsequent remarks. Mr. Morgan later characterized the budget vote as passing with "more than 70% support," and trustees thanked staff and volunteers who assisted with outreach and logistics.
The board continued with a planned superintendent spotlight and other business before adjourning to executive session.
