"Mr. Belmonte is going to do a presentation on what a contingent budget will look like," the Board President said, inviting residents to submit questions in advance if they cannot attend.
Trustees and administrators stressed the need for clear information and community input before rebuilding a new proposal. The board said it will post follow-up answers and materials online after the meeting and encouraged residents to read existing materials on the district website ahead of the forum.
The board did not adopt any budget at the meeting; it scheduled the special session solely to present the contingent budget format and collect community feedback before any formal action.
