Warrick County officials voted to approve a contract with PSNA, the accounting-software provider that acquired Keystone, to complete a system migration and capture a $26,000 cost reduction if the agreement is turned in by the vendor deadline.
Reagan, the county controller, told the board that PSNA had accepted most of the changes requested by staff and that Adam (staff) was satisfied with the revisions. Reagan said approving the contract would allow the county to “take advantage of that $26,000 savings” by meeting the vendor’s June 3 deadline.
The controller said the contractual line in the proposed 2027 budget reflects the one-time increase tied to the software migration. Board members asked a few procedural questions but moved and passed the contract approval during the meeting.
Reagan also noted routine procurement protections in the contract, including a clause allowing the county to require deletion of data if the county later discontinues the vendor’s services.
The board did not record roll-call vote tallies in the transcript; the chair announced the motion carried. Staff said they will finalize the paperwork to meet the vendor deadline so the county can realize the stated savings.
