The Pleasant Grove City Council unanimously approved Resolution 2026'26 on May 19 to grant an underground easement allowing Rocky Mountain Power to relocate transmission lines at Discovery Park to provide power to a planned AT&T cell tower.
City attorney staff explained that the easement is a technical follow'up required after the council previously approved the lease with AT&T for the tower. "This easement in favor of Rocky Mountain Power is another step in the construction of a new cell tower out at the Discovery Ball Fields," Attorney Peterson told the council, noting that existing power lines are not in the previously granted easements and must be adjusted.
The council moved, seconded and adopted the resolution by roll'call; the vote was unanimous.
