The commission opened a public hearing; William Gford of Oregon City urged better pre‑distribution of supplemental budgets to the budget committee as an additional review step. After closing the hearing with no further public comments, the commission approved Resolution 2609 by roll call.
The adoption authorizes staff to implement the budget adjustments in accordance with state law and the city’s fiscal policies. Zuk and staff will proceed with the accounting entries and continue to brief the commission as required.
