CRA board adopts quarterly reporting requirement from downtown partners, beginning April

The City of Clermont CRA voted to require quarterly reports from organizations that operate or manage properties in the CRA—such as Main Street, the Chamber and other partners—beginning in April 2026. The reports will include financial information, recent activity, upcoming events, grant recipient updates and metrics on outcomes.
Staff said the intent is to give the CRA board regular oversight and to provide content that helps with budgeting decisions and external communications. "We currently send quarterly reports to the state for compliance, so we can simply just turn them into you," Patrick Bianke, president of Main Street, told the board and offered to provide the materials the organization already prepares.
Board members discussed format and cadence: written reports will be standard, with invitation for brief in‑person or video presentations from larger partners (five minutes suggested) so the meetings do not become overly long. The board agreed quarterly meetings should be scheduled in the first month of each quarter (April, July, October, January) and generally at 2 p.m. unless agenda demands more time.
A motion to adopt quarterly meetings with written reports and the described presentation parameters passed unanimously, 7–0. Staff will place the first quarterly reports meeting on the April 2026 calendar and follow up with guidance on report templates and invited presenters.
