Dorchester County Public Library unveils 'Unearth a Story' Summer Program and reviews services

Hannah Collison (Youth Services Coordinator), Julie Kennedy (Assistant Director), and Lanett Bagley (Hurlock Branch Manager) provided an overview of services the library offers to the community. Caitlin McGrellis, Vice President of the Dorchester County Public Library Board of Trustees, participated in the presentation and helped announce the Summer Program theme, "Unearth a Story," which is intended to encourage youth participation in library activities over the summer months.
The presentation was recorded in the minutes as part of the public comment/presentation portion of the council meeting; no formal council action was required. Library leaders described programming and outreach efforts intended to benefit children and families across Dorchester County.
