The Lewis and Clark County Board of Commissioners on March 17 approved a $17,311 contract with Helena Asphalt Solutions LLC for seal coat and crack-seal work, with the work scheduled to be completed by May 31, 2026.
Corey Popp, Fairgrounds Accounting Technician, presented the contract and said staff recommended approval. Commissioner Andy Hunthausen moved to approve the contract; Commissioner Candace Payne seconded the motion, and the Commission voted 3-0 to approve it.
The contract was listed on the meeting agenda under action items and received no public comment. The approval authorizes staff to proceed with procurement and scheduling under the terms presented at the meeting.
The Commission will not hear further public comment on this contract unless it is formally reopened on a future agenda.
