Mason County approves indigent health care standards, eligibility and outreach for 2025'2026

The Mason County Commissioners Court on Aug. 25 approved the county's Indigent Health Care standards and procedures for the 2025'2026 state fiscal year, accepted the program's annual report for Sept. 1, 2024'Aug. 31, 2025, and authorized outreach to notify the public.
The court approved the 2025'2026 Federal Poverty Eligibility Criteria at the 50% FPO maximum income standard and approved the list of optional health-care services for the program year. Court minutes record the motions as carried and note these actions are recorded in the official minutes (Vol. 23, pages 612'617).
The court also authorized publishing notice of the Mason County Indigent Program in the Mason County News and on the county website to inform eligible residents of the program and application process.
