The budget amendment was made by Commissioner Fred Estes and seconded by Commissioner Reggie Loeffler; the motion carried.
County officials did not record a dollar amount tied to DR4879 in the minutes. The amendment adds a dedicated line to accept FEMA-related reimbursements or awards under the county fund structure, allowing the county to track any federal disaster funds separately from the general fund.
The court also discussed scheduling and procedural next steps for disaster relief coordination but took no separate action beyond the budget amendment during the meeting. The court will revisit related items as FEMA or state guidance develops.
