Matagorda County commissioners approve equipment purchases, contracts and road bids in routine Jan. 5 session

Matagorda County Commissioners' Court met Jan. 5 in Bay City and approved a slate of routine county actions, including equipment purchases, vendor contracts and awards of road bids, while also taking time for an executive session on legal, personnel and security matters.

County Judge Bobby Seiferman called the meeting to order at 9:32 a.m. and certified a quorum with four commissioners present.
