Key actions included approving the April 6, 2026 minutes, accepting $10,000 each from Bowers Shrimp Farm, Bowers Seafood, LLC and Bowers & Saha Aquaculture, LLC for improvements at Bowers Park, and approving a Security Professional Service Agreement between the Matagorda County Sheriff's Office and Allied Universal Security Services for bailiff services at the county courthouse.
The court also approved two proclamations: declaring April 2026 as Autism Awareness Month and declaring April 26–May 3, 2026, as Texas Soil and Water Stewardship Week. Commissioners approved a replat of Lots 1 & 6, Block 4, Tier 4 of the Colorado Front of the Matagorda Townsite and the Dupont Subdivision in the William Baxter League. Leases and use agreements with local youth organizations were authorized: the court approved a Lease/Use Agreement between Matagorda County and Tidehaven Little League specific to Heffelfinger Memorial Park and a Lease/Use Agreement with Palacios Little League for the Sports Complex at Bowers Park. The court also approved departmental invoices, accepted the Treasurer's Monthly Investment Report for March 2026, authorized payment of demand checks, ratified line-item transfers and approved emergency amendments as presented.

The court reconvened at 10:38 a.m. and Judge Seiferman adjourned the meeting at approximately 10:39 a.m.
