McCulloch commissioners approve vehicles, building repairs and a new Child Welfare Board member

The court approved the appointment of Shana Baronet to the McCulloch County Child Welfare Board as presented by Sara Howard; the motion passed unanimously, 5-0. County Treasurer Mikkie Williams asked for clear financial numbers on other agenda items before final decisions.
The court approved the purchase of two 2026 Chevrolet pickups from Caldwell Chevrolet (Buy Board Quote #3567) for Precincts 1 and 4 using FEMA reimbursement funds assigned to Precinct 4; the vote was 5-0. The court approved a scope of work to repair structural issues in the AgriLife office meeting room (remove drop ceiling, frame and finish a new ceiling) and later approved an amendment requiring all 2x6 boards be used in construction; both motions carried 5-0.
The court also approved reporting of donations, memorials and monies received by the McCulloch County Library for Sept. 1'Sept. 30, 2025 (5-0). Having completed business the court adjourned at 11:43 a.m.
