Councilmember Russ Smith moved to accept the bid; the motion passed with Smith, Luke Wassom and Paul Holland voting aye and Councilmember Chris Myers recorded as abstaining.
The award concludes the formal bid opening and acceptance for the Highway 2 sewer extension; JEO provided the recommendation to the council, and the city will proceed with contract execution and project scheduling with the awarded contractor.
