McCulloch County Commissioners approve gazebo repairs, appointment, cybersecurity training and pay EMS bill

At the Nov. 24 meeting the Court approved payment of county bills including full EMS payment to the City of Brady, authorized Commissioners to contact the Texas Historical Commission for a gazebo/bench renovation project, appointed Micah Trull to the County Board of Development, approved a Lohn ISD event, and enrolled county staff in a statewide cybersecurity course; the treasurer's quarterly report was tabled to Dec. 8.
McCulloch County Commissioners on Nov. 24 approved a bundle of routine items intended to maintain services and support community events.
The Court presented and approved bills for Nov. 24, noting the City of Brady will be paid in full for EMS services. Commissioner Randy Deans moved to approve the bills and Commissioner Gary Maricle seconded; the motion carried 5-0.
The Court also approved a request from Brady Revive to allow county Commissioners to contact the Texas Historical Commission (THC) on behalf of the group for a gazebo renovation and bench project; Gary Maricle volunteered to serve as the county point of contact. The Court approved appointing Micah Trull to the County Board of Development; the motion carried 4-0 with County Judge Frank Trull recorded as abstaining. The Court granted Lohn ISD permission to sing on the courthouse lawn Dec. 16, 2025 at 10:45 a.m.
County enrollment in the Texas Association of Counties annual cybersecurity course for all county employees, elected and appointed officials was approved, and the Court accepted donations and memorial reporting for the McCulloch County Library for Oct. 1–31, 2025.
County Treasurer Mikkie Williams was absent, so the Court tabled the FY2025 fourth-quarter Treasurer's Report and placed the item on the Dec. 8, 2025 agenda. The meeting adjourned at 10:58 a.m.
