At the start of its April 21 session the Midland County Commissioners Court recognized a group of 4‑H students for livestock show accomplishments.
A 4‑H representative introduced the students and invited them to tell the court about recent results at shows in San Antonio, Fort Worth, Houston, San Angelo and the National Western Stock Show. Students identified themselves and the events in which they placed; examples include Noah Rivas (senior, Gruen High School) and others who reported top‑10 finishes and champion placements.
The court thanked the students and presented certificates to those in attendance. Officials emphasized the time and family support required for livestock projects and congratulated the students for representing Midland County at multiple regional and national shows.
No formal action beyond certificate presentation was required.
