City staff explained the roundabout project required gravity sewer to serve nearby parcels and that the city fronted the construction costs and will record a late‑comers reimbursement agreement against four parcels. "The estimated cost at the time was about $60,000 through construction... they just slightly under $88,000 to be recaptured, through this agreement, on those properties," city staff member Chris Searcy said during the staff report.
Council moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote; no roll-call vote was recorded in the transcript.
The resolution authorizes recording the reimbursement document against the identified parcels so the city can recapture construction and administrative costs from properties that connect to the new sewer.
