Business assistance grants: The council approved two business assistance grants under the city's program. - Car Mix Auto Service (1685 E. Tax incentive: The council voted to support a Cook County Class 6B property tax incentive for Klickau Family Investments, LLC at 2490 S. Wolf Road. Rogers said the applicant proposes to invest more than $1,000,000 in improvements and to hire at least 75 full-time positions within two years; the council approved resolution R-38-26.
Votes at a glance: All four resolutions (R-35-26, R-36-26, R-37-26, R-38-26) carried on roll call votes recorded during the meeting. Where the transcript recorded roll call statements, each motion passed as noted in the meeting minutes.
What happens next: Approved grants require post-project documentation (invoices, proof of payment, lien releases) before final reimbursement. For the Class 6B incentive, the applicant must meet investment and reporting conditions referenced in the program materials.
