City approves city-hosted affordable-rental platform and $700,000 workforce agreement

Alderman Durkee presented the items and told council the Citywise platform would be hosted on a city domain and that "there'll be no cost to the city." Durkee said the LT Construction agreement is funded by ARPA dollars designated for youth-violence-prevention programs.
Council narrowed a larger slate of items and laid over two historic-property funding matters before taking the votes. The clerk announced the roll-call results: item 1 (Citywise agreement) carried with 10 ayes and 1 no; item 4 (LT Construction) was recorded as carried with an affirmative vote.
The legal director was directed to prepare the appropriate ordinances for both agreements; the council did not discuss implementation timelines in detail during the passage.
Next procedural steps: the legal director will prepare the formal ordinances for final adoption language and staff will return paperwork necessary to implement the Citywise hosting arrangement and the LT Construction workforce initiative.
