Livingston County confirms Second Deputy County Clerk and county attorney appointments, amends health staffing

County Clerk Kristine Secor announced the appointment of Nicole Utberg of Groveland to the full-time Second Deputy County Clerk position at an annual salary of $78,500, effective May 17, 2026. The motion to approve the appointment was moved by Mr. DiSalvo and seconded by Mr. Wadsworth; the committee recorded the motion as carried.
The Board also approved appointing Matthew C. Lenahan of Lima to the office of Livingston County Attorney for a term commencing June 29, 2026 and terminating Dec. 31, 2029, at an annual salary of $180,000. The appointment followed notation that the County Attorney position had been vacant since Nov. 30, 2025; Mr. Pangrazio moved the resolution and Mr. DiSalvo seconded it, and the motion carried.
Separately, the Board amended the 2026 salary schedule for the Department of Health to delete one full‑time Mental Health Clinical Supervisor position (Wage Grade 19) because it is being replaced with a full‑time Deputy Director of Community Mental Health Services. Ms. Rodriguez reviewed the position deletion and the measure was approved.
