Minooka CCSD 201 launches strategic planning process; survey, input sessions set for March

District leaders updated the board on the strategic planning process being run with Catalyst for Educational Change. The readiness phase is complete and the district will launch a stakeholder survey on March 2, followed by two community input sessions on March 18 (Wednesday evening) and March 21 (Saturday morning). An internal steering committee and a data workshop will synthesize input before a roadmap workshop targeted for April 10.
"We are in the gray portion of that readiness now... The internal steering committee is gonna engage in a data workshop," the moderator said while outlining the phases of the five-year plan. The district emphasized that community input, including staff, families, students and business partners, will inform priorities and measurable outcomes.
District leaders said the plan will be hosted on the district website as a living document and that the steering committee would refine survey instruments before launch. Board members encouraged participation and noted the importance of using the plan to guide district priorities and measurable actions.
