Mount Prospect board waives reading, approves limited liquor permit for Milano Nail Spa

The Mount Prospect Village Board voted April 7 to waive a second reading and adopt an ordinance authorizing an additional Class S-6 liquor license to allow Milano Nail Spa, operating in Randhurst Village, to serve limited refreshments.
Mayor Paul Hoefert read the ordinance language and welcomed the spa’s representatives, who said the business had completed required training and planned only limited service of refreshments. Trustees complimented the new business for contributing to the Randhurst area’s ongoing redevelopment.
Trustees moved, seconded and the clerk called the roll; Trustees Dante, DiPrima, Gens, Grossi, Matuszak and Sacatelli each voted “Aye,” and the motion carried. The salon’s representative thanked the board after the vote.
The ordinance amends Chapter 13 (Alcoholic Liquors) of the village code to increase the number of licenses in the Class S-6 category by one and specifies the business name and address as Milano Nail Spa, Ranters Village LLC, at 12 Randhurst Village Drive.
