On the consent agenda the board approved personnel reports and several gifts and grants, including $1,100 from Uniball for Geneva High School college signing days; $17,840 from the Manning family for the GHS marching band; $500 from Hogan Design and Construction for the GHS Unified Vikings; and a $309,000 gift from the Fabian Foundation designated for scholarships and technology. The motion to approve the consent agenda passed unanimously by voice vote.
Board members thanked donors and presenters and noted the importance of transparency and community engagement as the district moves forward on capital and programmatic priorities.
