The Hagerstown Mayor and City Council on May 26 adopted two zoning map amendments affecting properties on Trolley Drive/Corboy Drive and an Evergreen property along Eastern Boulevard.
For the Trolley Drive and Corboy Drive amendment, the council approved reclassifying approximately 8.79 acres: tax map 0318 parcel 828 (about 6.26 acres) was reclassified from RMOD to NMU, and a 2.52-acre portion of tax map 0318 parcel 163 was reclassified from CG to NMU. The motion was moved, seconded and approved; the transcript records the motion passed but does not provide individual vote tallies.
The council also approved ZM2026 02, reclassifying roughly 3.65 acres identified as tax map 0038 parcel 0890 on the north side of Eastern Boulevard and the east side of Luttersburg Pike from CL (Commercial Local) to CG (Commercial General) zoning. That motion also passed with no individual vote counts recorded in the meeting transcript.
Both ordinances were adopted pursuant to the applications and exhibits entered into the public record and attached decisions described during the meeting. The council did not record a roll-call vote or publish a tally in the session transcript provided.
