Floyd County Ambulance Commission accepts AMR proposal with conditions on hiring bonuses after rejecting original three-year offer

The commission authorized Charles City Administrator Tyler Trout to negotiate those terms with AMR. The motion passed 4-1, with Rottinghaus recorded as opposed.

The minutes state the contract_revision includes a pass-through of bonus payments to retain staff, reflecting the commissions focus on stabilizing emergency medical services staffing. If AMR does not agree to incorporate the specified language, the commission recorded that it would recommend adopting the original offer.
