Vote: 6–1 (Councilor Garnett opposed).
• Transfer-station ordinances (Orders 2026-020 and 2026-021): Adopted amendments to Chapter 38 (transfer-station access) and Chapter 98 (fee schedule) to restrict business access and clarify the multi-unit definition (10+ units); designated May 1, 2026 as the effective date with staff-directed outreach and a soft-enforcement period; staff to return clarifying language on mobile-home parks. Vote: 7–0.
• Assessor abatements: Authorized the assessor to apply omitted homestead and veteran exemptions for tax years 2024 and 2025 under MRSA Chapter 36 §841. Vote: 7–0.
• Grant application (Order 2026-030): Authorized staff to apply for Maine Infrastructure Adaptation Fund assistance for the Borough Road culvert replacement. Vote: 7–0.
