Both the Housing Advisory Committee and the Planning Commission adopted meeting calendars for 2025 during Nov. 4 sessions. The Housing Advisory Committee approved quarterly meetings (Feb. 3, Apr. 7, Aug. 18 and Oct. 20) following a discussion about whether the committee should meet more frequently; the motion passed with eight votes in favor and one abstention by Commissioner Sanchez.
The Planning Commission later approved a more extensive 2025 calendar (a list of dates was read into the record) and also re-elected Chair Miller and Vice Chair Castle in an electronic vote that carried unanimously. Staff said meeting schedules are driven by project needs and that special meetings can be called if policy items arise.
