Marion County extends and increases contract with psychiatric nurse practitioner Nathaniel Kravitz

The Marion County Board of Commissioners on May 14 approved Amendment #1 to a Contract for Services with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Nathaniel Kravitz, increasing the contract by $275,000 for a new not-to-exceed total of $675,000 and extending the term through June 30, 2027.
Carol Heard presented the amendment and said Mr. Kravitz provides skilled medical assessments, supervision for behavioral-health medications and individual meetings with adult behavioral health clients; the contract allows up to 21 hours of service per week. The board recorded that the contract had been discussed at a prior Management Update meeting. Commissioner Kevin Cameron moved approval; Commissioner Colm Willis seconded and the vote was unanimous.
