Summerfield touts 'Touch a Truck' turnout, announces tree lighting and parade plans

The kids were so excited to get their little passport..." She credited Brett Lambert and thanked parks staff for improvements, saying, "Everything looks amazing."
Officials announced a Christmas tree lighting at Summerfield Athletic Park (SAP) on Nov. 23 at 5:30 p.m. They also said the town council will participate in the Stokesdale Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m., and that council members plan to hand out candy during the parade. Mayor pro Tem Bang encouraged families from Summerfield to attend the events.
No budget figures or permit requirements for the events were discussed during the meeting.
