Shiawassee County adopts zoning change in Rush Township (Ordinance 25-11-04)

At the Nov. 19 meeting the Shiawassee County Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 25-11-04, accepting the Planning Commission’s recommendation to change the zoning designation of a parcel in Section 24 of Rush Township from A-1 (Agricultural Production) to B-2 (General Business).
The ordinance record in the meeting materials notes that petitioner Satendra Guru filed the request and paid applicable fees; the Planning Commission held a noticed public hearing on Oct. 22, 2025 and recommended approval (case PREZ25-004). The ordinance includes the legal description of the parcel and the formal adoption language required by the county zoning ordinance and Public Act 110 of 2006 as noted in the ordinance preamble.
