Templeton board accepts Measure A oversight committee annual report

The Templeton Community Services District on Jan. 21 accepted the annual report from the Measure A oversight committee, which reviews expenditures of proceeds from the parcel tax enacted in 2018 to fund fire services.
Staff summarized the committee’s review process and conclusion that funds were expended within the limitations set by the Measure A ordinance. The oversight committee, composed of three volunteer members, reviews draft financial information and audited financial statements before issuing its report to the board and public.
Board members thanked the oversight committee and the fire chief for assistance. A director moved to accept the report; the motion was seconded and passed on a roll-call vote with four ayes and one absence.
The board did not request additional follow-up and directed staff to note acceptance in the district records.
