The committee also discussed home battery incentives and program design for multi‑family projects: Teehan said his battery system cost $27,400, that Connected Solutions offered an $800 sign‑on bonus and an estimated $26,959 in payments over ten years, and noted his installer/contract included a 20% share of the Connected Solutions payment. Members discussed leasing models that capture the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and whether a housing authority project (Button Hill) could use leased batteries or pursue Direct Pay, subject to tax‑filing and management questions.
Separately, members agreed to ask the Board of Selectmen to list three committee openings (plus two alternates) on the town web page and confirmed website naming/capitalization issues had been corrected. The committee approved the April 8, 2025 minutes by voice vote and adjourned the meeting.
