At its April 21 meeting, the Berwick Select Board confirmed a list of residents as election clerks for two-year terms, approved multiple tax abatements and authorized payroll and accounts-payable warrants.
The chair read the clerk appointment list and the board voted to confirm the roster. In financial business the board reviewed and approved recommended abatements, including a recommended abatement for a manufactured-home park (Black Dog Realty) in the amount of $31,294.70 for tax year 2025–26 and an abatement for a single-family home at 17 Carriage Run reducing assessed value per a provided appraisal.
The board also approved Payroll Warrant 100 (dated April 16, 2026) and Payroll Warrant 102 (dated April 23, 2026) and Accounts Payable Warrants (numbers 101 and 103) as presented; the warrants included amounts read into the record by the town staff.
Roll-call votes carried the items as presented.
