Cultural Arts advisory committee schedules community mural for Jan. 13 workshop

Secretary Veronica Campos‑Hallstrom submitted a PowerPoint slide presentation after the December meeting; Assistant City Manager Cindy Morgan reviewed the slides and found no corrections were needed. Jonathan Burger, executive director of the Craven Arts Council & Gallery, is scheduled to attend the workshop to answer specific questions about the design and implementation.
Chairperson Lacey Robinson reiterated the importance of committee member attendance at the Jan. 13 presentation so members can review the proposal before it goes to the Board. No formal vote on the mural was recorded at the Jan. 7 meeting; the workshop presentation is the next scheduled step.
