The Madera County In-Home Supportive Services board approved its consent calendar by a 4-0 roll call vote during a regular meeting called to order at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10.
Chair McCully opened the session and outlined public-comment procedures, saying, "The first 15 minutes of regular session are set aside for members of the public to address the board on any matter under the jurisdiction of the board, but not appearing on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes." The chair also asked speakers to print their name and county of residence for the record.
After the chair called for public comment and was told there were no in-room or online speakers, the board moved to the consent calendar. A motion to approve the consent calendar was made and seconded; the board then conducted a roll call and recorded four affirmative votes, after which the chair said, "Thank you," and moved on to the next item.
The meeting then proceeded to an announced closed-session item. No public comment was taken on closed-session matters prior to recess.
